Ancient history is a veritable bottomless well that has something to fascinate everyone. Certain areas can be harder to study than others because historical documents and sites are rare or are so far back in time that the written word did not exist. Many There are websites that contain text, maps and images of artifacts from ancient history. Some of the more popular areas of study are as follows.
There are plenty of great shows on History and A&E channels. One of the newest is called ‘Digging for the Truth’ at The History Channel . The host of the show, Josh Bernstein, travels over the globe trying to answer some of the many strange mysteries of ancient time. Your local library contains many videos of old and new shows on different topics of ancient history, free for viewing.
